HAPPY NEW YEAR AND WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!

I hope that everyone had an enjoyable holiday with their friends and families and is ready for all of the exciting events that 2012 is sure to bring.  I am happy to announce that Andrea Marchand, a DSW student from Georgian College, will be joining the team in the Learning Centre from January to April 2012 on Mondays and Tuesdays.  Ms. Marchand will be working with a variety of students in different capacities.  We are busy for the next few weeks learning about Canadian money by representing and identifying various amounts of money and also working through some problem solving strategies. In language, we are continuing on with balanced literacy and The Daily Five as well as our year long magazine projects.
