THIS WAS OUR FIRST BOOK BY KATE DICAMILLO.  WE ENJOYED LEARNING ABOUT FRIENDSHIP, FAMILY AND TRUST.  WE ALL MADE A DIORAMA OF OUR FAVOURITE SCENE IN THE BOOK AND THEY ARE NOW ON DISPLAY IN THE LIBRARY!

Here is another one of our featured authors in the Learning Centre for the 2012-2013 school year.  Patricia has written over 50 children's picture books that are read in classrooms around the world from grades Kindergarten to Grade 12! The students will enjoy her storytelling techniques and the way that she weaves themes of friendship, family and character education traits into each and every one of her books. WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!

I would like to welcome back all students and staff to the new 2012-2013 school year at Wyevale C.P.S.!  This Blog will be updated weekly for all parents with students who visit the Learning Centre on a regular basis.  We will, as a class, provide samples of our weekly work and exciting initiatives that will be taking place in the Learning Centre this year.
